Custody Evaluations
Custody evaluations are ordered by the court when parents are unable to agree on parenting plans and a child(rens) allocated time with each parent and are unable to mutually agree on the best interests of the child(ren). As of December 2023, I am available to accept 4 new custody evaluations.
These evaluations take approximately 100 hours to complete. The approximate breakdown of percentages are listed below:
5% - Creating Interview questionnaires based on the Initial Parenting intake form
15% - Parent Interviews (this include step-parents)
15%- Child(ren) Interviews
10% - Scoring and/or Interpreting Results
5%- Home visits
50% - Reviewing collateral information, summarizing documents, and analyzing and synthesizing data.
The total cost of the retainer is due prior to any work has commenced.
I typically can begin custody evaluations within 2 weeks of receiving the retainer.
